Measurements and QC

Compare sneakers and slides before choosing a size

Start with the exact model and seller’s chart. The measurement example explains a check to make; it does not recommend a size for any product.

Keep foot and shoe measurements separate

Measure both feet standing, from heel to longest toe, and use the longer result when reading the seller’s chart. Check whether the chart describes foot length, insole length or outsole length. Compare the same measurement on a comfortable pair; EU, UK and US labels alone do not establish a match.

Method example: if your longer foot measures 26.0 cm, locate the chart’s foot-length field first. A 26.0 cm outsole is a different measurement and cannot be used as a direct size match.

Check different views for different footwear

For sneakers, compare toe and heel shape, panel alignment, stitching and the left/right pair from top, side and rear views. For slides, inspect the strap, footbed, toe opening and sole from above and the side. A size-label photo identifies the label; ruler photos may add a useful length check.

Use QC for visible checks and plan the box

QC photos can show visible damage, color and construction details. They cannot establish comfort, grip, long-term durability, materials or authenticity. Confirm the live model, color, size and price, then compare packing with or without a shoe box using final weight and dimensions.

Footwear FAQ

Common questions about Hipobuy footwear finds

Use these quick checks before opening a live listing or submitting a parcel.

How do I choose Hipobuy sneaker finds?

Start with the shoes category, compare the product shape, review the price reference, check sizing information and open the live Hipobuy listing only after the find looks worth verifying.

Can I use this category for slides and slippers finds?

Yes. Compare the strap, footbed, toe opening and sole from top and side views. Confirm the seller’s size chart for the exact model; a sneaker size label does not guarantee the same fit in slides.

Is foot length the same as insole or outsole length?

No. Foot length measures your foot, insole length measures inside the shoe and outsole length measures the external sole. Read which measurement the seller’s chart uses before choosing a size.

What can footwear QC photos tell me?

They can help you check visible color, shape, stitching, size labels, damage and pair symmetry. Ruler views can add measurement context. Photos cannot prove comfort, grip, durability, materials or authenticity.

Are shoe boxes important for shipping weight?

They can be. Shoe boxes and protective packaging may increase parcel size and shipping cost. Slides and slippers are often lighter than sneakers, but chunky soles or boxes can still affect final parcel weight.
